Hoping to catch fish like I did a few days ago, I assembled another crew to see what we could do.  I slipped out yesterday afternoon and was fortunate to only have to throw the net one time.  I put 170 big Threadfins in the tank and was home in time to get my lazy on.  We all met at the ramp at around 5:45 and off we went.

We set up at spot #1 and proceeded to catch 23 bass.  It was not the best action in the world and the large shad prevented much of a White Perch bite.  After we ran through the bait messing around at different spots, we decided to get some fresh bait if possible.  The conditions were not great but we found a big school shallow and in one throw we caught about 350.  Dropped about 200 in the tank and off we went.

We looked around a while at a lot of good spots and the fish just were not there yet.  We decided to try a new spot and knew in a few seconds we hit on something good.  We fished that spot for about 3 hours (til we ran out of bait) and caught another 49 bass there.  A few interesting facts about today......

If we could have gotten bait at the end of the second session, I feel like we could have caught another 50 or so Bass.  One of these days it will all come together.  I was too busy catching fish to take many pictures, but here are the ones I took.....
